Muizenberg was once the most famous beach resort of the Cape but even though its fame has diminished somewhat, the beach is still the same. The beach is still beautiful and stretches as far as you can see (or walk). Also, the Vlei (lagoon) is still right on our doorstep, with its Kingfishers, enormous pick nick area and water sport possibilities.

Sonstraal Guesthouse is only a 2 minutes walk from the beach, at the edge of Muizenberg.

Sonstraal offers tastefully decorated rooms, of which 5 (of the 7) have en suite bathrooms. All the guests can use the big kitchen in the house to prepare meals as well. And guests can make use of a big dining room/ lounge as well plus a covered terrace with BBQ at the back of the B&B house.

Children can have great fun at the big pool with water slide, miniature golf course and playing area on the beach edge in the village. The sea is also very children friendly as the water gets deep very gradually.

Down payments for bookings:
Up to 3 nights, payment of the whole amount.
4 nights or longer, 50% down payment, balance to be settled 14 days (or 30 days) before arrival.
Cancellations:
Full refund of the down payment (minus 5% with a min of R200 for costs) with cancellations
14 days in advance and 30 days for special events and school holidays.
Full breakfast (continental and English) is served from 8 – 9 am Before 8 am we can set a continental breakfast ready, but breakfast is optional in Sonstraal, so making your own breakfast in the big kitchen is also a possibility and R 40 pp pn less.
